Akash Mohimen

Akash Mohimen is a writer and filmmaker from Jamshedpur, India. He has written four plays, including two children’s plays: The Mighty Mirembayanna and The Prisoners of Peace, and a musical, Hattamala. He participated in the Royal Court/Rage workshops in 2010 and 2011, where he wrote his fourth play, Mahua. Mahua, written in Hindi, was produced at Prithvi Theatre in Mumbai and showcased across India as part of the Writers Bloc Festival produced by Rage Theatre in 2012.
