Synopsis

Minhee and Junhee, from their oppressive homeland of North Korea. As they embark on this perilous journey, their paths diverge dramatically. One sister finds herself in the surreal, bustling world of the United States, grappling with cultural shock and the complexities of freedom. Meanwhile, the other remains entangled in the challenging realities of North Korea. This gripping narrative vividly contrasts their experiences, weaving a tale of resilience, familial love, and the disorienting clash of vastly different worlds.

It explores themes of sacrifice, family bonds, cultural dissonance, and the human cost of political oppression, while contrasting life in North Korea with the American experience.
