Synopsis

England, 1984, amidst the echoes of industrial turmoil and the relentless march of progress.

Jack stands in the dimly lit living room, a place stripped to its bare essentials, clutching a miner’s helmet, the symbol of his livelihood. The play intricately explores the intersecting lives of a mining family during the heart-wrenching era of the miners’ strikes.

The play delves deeply into themes of identity, resilience, and the socio-economic upheaval of the era. It is a narrative that captures the essence of solidarity amidst adversity, questioning the very fabric of progress and the sacrifices it demands.
