Synopsis

South Africa, 1975

James Mthoba stands alone on a dimly lit stage, bringing to life the powerful one-man show “UHlanga – The Reed.” The play, co-devised with director Mshengu of Theatre Workshop ’71, explores the resilience and spirit of the Zulu people through Mthoba’s compelling performance.
