Synopsis

London, the present

Hilary, a culinary genius, is thrown into turmoil when her husband, Kenneth, leaves her for the younger, slimmer Laura, who lacks Hilary’s cooking prowess. The narrative unfolds as Kenneth, dissatisfied with Laura’s inability to match Hilary’s culinary skills, is drawn back to his ex-wife’s table for one last, fateful dinner.

The Woman Who Cooked Her Husband is a darkly comic exploration of betrayal, jealousy, and revenge. The play uses a series of flashbacks interspersed with the climactic ‘last supper’ to unravel the twisted dynamics between the characters.
