Synopsis

In the urban landscape of 20th-century Britain, where justice becomes a personal crusade, and morality is tested to its limits

A man driven by a profound sense of betrayal after the legal system fails him. Unable to accept the outcome of a trial that has deeply affected his life, he takes it upon himself to seek justice. What begins as a righteous cause soon spirals into an all-consuming obsession, as he delves deeper into the pursuit of revenge. His journey through the dark alleys of his psyche raises disturbing questions about the boundaries between justice and vigilantism.

Wiseman crafts a tense, psychological narrative that explores the devastating impact of trauma and the dangerous allure of taking the law into one’s own hands. As the protagonist’s moral compass becomes increasingly skewed, The Private Prosecutor presents a chilling commentary on the fragility of justice and the destructive power of obsession.
