Synopsis

London, 1973. Amidst the turmoil of political upheaval and shifting social norms, a provocative exploration of desire and power unfolds.

Tom is a charismatic but manipulative political figure who ensnares Sue, a journalist in his web of influence. Their interactions reflect the broader societal changes of the time, with themes of sexual liberation, political ambition, and the search for personal fulfillment intersecting in complex ways.

Wilson’s clever dialogue and imaginative scenarios provide a biting critique of the social and political landscape. The play’s mix of surreal comedy and stark realism offers a thought-provoking commentary on the nature of power and the complexities of human relationships.
