Synopsis

A claustrophobic police interrogation room in Northern Ireland

Harris, a Protestant Special Branch officer, and Nolan, a young loyalist paramilitary, engage in a high-stakes battle of wills within the confines of an interrogation room. As Harris attempts to extract information about loyalist activities, the lines between interrogator and suspect blur, exposing the deep-seated tensions and moral ambiguities of Northern Ireland’s post-Troubles landscape.

Mitchell’s claustrophobic setting creates an intense atmosphere where loyalty, power, and betrayal become both weapons and wounds. As the interrogation unfolds, The Force of Change delves into the corrosive effects of prolonged conflict on individuals and institutions, challenging audiences to confront the complexities of a society struggling to move beyond its violent past.
