Synopsis

A cozy restaurant table transforms into a battlefield of truth and deception, as Noah and Celeste’s first date sparks a journey that will consume their lives and shake the foundations of reality.

Noah, a charismatic conspiracy theorist with a disarming smile, leans across the table, his eyes alight with mischief as he spins an outrageous tale of his time at Eton with the young princes. Across from him, Celeste listens, her laughter tinged with skepticism, unaware that this moment will be the first step on a path that leads to love, obsession, and ultimately, destruction. As their wine glasses clink and the chemistry crackles between them, the world beyond their table begins to blur and shift, hinting at the alternate reality they will construct together.

Kirkwood’s play is a dizzying dance through time and perception, where intimate moments of domestic bliss collide jarringly with paranoid rants and government surveillance. The Quilters’ home becomes a fortress against an increasingly hostile world, its walls plastered with newspaper clippings and hastily scrawled notes, a physical manifestation of their spiraling minds. As Noah’s YouTube following grows, we watch Celeste’s transformation from bemused partner to fervent believer, her nurse’s scrubs gradually replaced by tin foil hats.
