Synopsis

In the desolate, crumbling remnants of an ancient estate, the cycle of violence and the ghosts of history collide with devastating consequences.

Set in the ruins of a once-grand house, the play revolves around the interactions between various characters who are metaphorically referred to as “pygmies”—individuals overshadowed by the monumental ruins of history and their own personal failings. The characters grapple with their ambitions, regrets, and the haunting presence of the past, revealing the deep scars left by previous generations and the futility of escaping one’s heritage.
