Synopsis

New York, 1977. The gritty reality of a downtown police precinct becomes a crucible for revealing hidden truths and personal demons

Sergeant Kelly and Jack Delasante, two weary and disillusioned detectives, interrogate Jimmy and Sean, two young men suspected of murdering an elderly woman. As the night progresses, the intense and often violent questioning reveals not only the suspects’ secrets but also the vulnerabilities and moral ambiguities of the officers themselves.

Babe’s incisive dialogue and the play’s raw intensity capture the psychological complexities of its characters, exploring themes of guilt, redemption, and the blurred lines between right and wrong. The play’s setting and character-driven narrative provide a stark, compelling look at the human condition under pressure.
