Synopsis

Dublin, the present

Neil, a war correspondent haunted by the atrocities he’s witnessed, grapples with his crumbling marriage to Zoë and his passionate affair with actress Sarah. As Neil struggles to balance his professional ambitions with his personal life, the play weaves together the stories of those caught in his orbit, including his teenage daughter Maie, Sarah’s partner Ian, and the ambitious producer Elsa.

Feehily’s razor-sharp dialogue and non-linear structure create a dizzying portrait of lives in flux, where love, ambition, and moral responsibility collide. The play jumps between Neil’s harrowing experiences in Darfur, Sarah’s frustrations with her stalling acting career, and the ripple effects of their affair on those around them. As the characters navigate their tangled relationships. With biting humor and raw emotion, Feehily crafts a powerful examination of how we construct our identities and seek connection in an increasingly fractured world.
