Synopsis

Set against a backdrop of fallen leaves and a rusty bench, it features a woman in her fifties, dressed in a maternity-type dress, interacting with leaves in a poignant, almost ritualistic manner.

Her actions convey a sense of loss, confusion, and yearning. The presence of a young man, who engages in reflective monologues, adds layers of nostalgia, regret, and unresolved emotions. The narrative delves into themes of memory, decay, and the ineffable distance between past and present, exploring the complex dynamics of relationships and the haunting nature of what once was but is no longer. The play’s evocative setting and dialogue create a powerful, melancholic atmosphere.
