Synopsis

Paris, 1930s

In the dimly lit, cluttered office of a struggling newspaper in Paris during the late 1930s, the atmosphere is tense and the financial woes are palpable. The newspaper, led by its weary and cynical editor Georges Masse, is on the brink of collapse. However, an unexpected turn of events promises a ray of hope for the publication.

Nekrassov satirises the world of journalism, politics, and human nature itself. The play exposes the absurdity of truth and manipulation in a pre-World War II society on the brink of monumental change.
