Synopsis

Ephraim is a young and ambitious man torn between his dream of a new life in England and the tangled web of relationships in his community. As he navigates love, ambition, and moral dilemmas, the play vividly portrays the pulsating life of Trinidad.

The play thrives on themes like the pursuit of dreams and the friction between personal desires and societal expectations. Ephraim’s struggle symbolises a universal quest for a better future, set against a backdrop of love, betrayal, and the resilient spirit of a close-knit community.
