Synopsis

Molly Taylor, a charming Liverpudlian storyteller, weaves interconnected tales centered around chance encounters and life-changing moments on public transportation. Inspired by her own serendipitous love affair, Molly embarks on a quest to track down and thank the bus and train drivers who unknowingly played a part in her romantic journey. As she shares her personal story, she intersperses it with anecdotes from others whose lives were similarly altered by seemingly mundane trips on buses, trains, and in taxis.

The play blends elements of memoir, storytelling, and romantic comedy to explore themes of serendipity, gratitude, and the hidden connections that shape our lives. Taylor’s warm, chatty delivery and lyrical observations aim to elevate the everyday experiences of public transport into something profound and even heroic.
