Synopsis

A private clinic on the precipice of a world in chaos

Ella, Annabel, and Maria – daughters of history’s most infamous dictators – find themselves trapped in a surreal and sinister experiment. This darkly comedic play explores the weight of inherited guilt as the three women navigate a grotesque game orchestrated by unseen forces.

Walser’s absurdist drama blurs the lines between victim and perpetrator, reality and nightmare. Through sharp, biting dialogue and a non-linear, episodic structure, the play delves into the cyclical nature of power and the fragmentation of identity under the shadow of tyranny. As the clinic becomes a pressure cooker of repressed trauma and manipulation, King Kong’s Daughters offers a chilling examination of how the sins of the fathers echo through generations, culminating in a disturbing crescendo of revelations that challenge our understanding of guilt, complicity, and the human psyche.
