Synopsis

The play begins with the father (referred to as Him) conversing with a girl who resembles his daughter in a setting that alternates between past and present. As the dialogue unfolds, the audience is drawn into the father’s increasingly obsessive fixation on his daughter, revealing deep-seated issues and blurred boundaries. The narrative shifts between different realities, leaving the audience questioning what is true and what is imagined.

The play explores themes of obsession, identity, family dynamics, and psychological disintegration. The play’s minimalist setting and intense dialogue underscore the emotional and psychological depth of the characters, creating a haunting atmosphere that lingers long after the performance ends. Through its exploration of a father’s disturbing fixation, the play delves into the darker aspects of human relationships and the complexities of familial love.
