Synopsis

Set against the backdrop of a gentrifying American city, where the past and present collide under the shadow of a solar eclipse

Katja, an elderly immigrant woman, mistakenly invites a mysterious stranger and her young son to live in her guest house, unknowingly setting off a chain of events that will upheave her quiet existence. Eclipse by Leigh Jackson is a dramatic exploration of family trauma, immigration, and the search for belonging. As the impending solar eclipse looms, Katja, her grandson Frey, and their new houseguests, Luna and her son Marcus, are forced to confront long-buried secrets and unresolved conflicts. The eclipse becomes a catalyst for change, bringing to light the hidden fears and hopes of each character.

Eclipse raises poignant questions about where we belong and how we navigate the spaces between past and present, tradition and change. It invites the audience to reflect on the nature of home and the bonds that tie us to each other across generations and cultures
