Synopsis

Jeanine, a terminally ill elderly woman, navigates the complex and often dark world of end-of-life decisions. Set in a nursing home, the narrative unfolds as Jeanine becomes convinced that her nurse, Tina, is trying to expedite her death for financial gain. This suspicion sets off a series of manipulative interactions and moral dilemmas that expose the vulnerabilities and ethical quandaries of each character involved.

As Jeanine plots to safeguard her life and assets, Tina faces her own desperate circumstances, needing money to bring her son from Haiti. The nursing home director, Todd, becomes embroiled in the scheme, adding layers of deceit and manipulation. The play delves into themes of mortality, ethics, and the lengths people will go to secure their futures, creating a tense and emotionally charged atmosphere that challenges the audience’s perceptions of right and wrong.
