Synopsis

London, 1980s

Clair, a real estate agent, becomes entangled in a web of deceit and moral ambiguity. The narrative unfolds within the confines of a high-stakes real estate transaction that spirals into a chilling exploration of greed, exploitation, and the dark undercurrents of human behaviour. Clair, known for her professional acumen and calm demeanor, finds herself navigating between the manipulative demands of the property vendors, James and Liz, and the unsettling interest of a mysterious potential buyer, Mike.

As the story progresses, Clair’s professional facade begins to crack under the pressure of escalating tensions and ethical dilemmas. The play explores moral compromise, the dehumanising effects of capitalism, and the vulnerability of individuals caught in the machinations of the property market. The intimate and claustrophobic setting of the play amplifies the psychological tension, leading to a shocking and tragic climax that leaves a lasting impact on both the characters and the audience.
