Synopsis

A narrow, barely visible bench on a darkened stage

Flo, Vi, and Ru, three women of undeterminable age sit in a row, engaging in sparse, cryptic dialogue that hints at deeper secrets and unspoken bonds.

Throughout the brief but intense narrative, each woman takes turns leaving the stage, only to return and whisper a shocking piece of information to the others. This cyclical pattern underscores themes of secrecy, betrayal, and the passage of time. The play’s austere staging, with concentrated lighting and color-coded costumes, emphasizes the uniformity and subtle differences among the characters, while the deliberate movements and muted voices contribute to the haunting, almost spectral quality of the piece.
