Synopsis

Nold, an engineer and part-time student, finds himself in a nightmarish and surreal situation in a grim tale of survival, existential dread, and human desperation. The play opens with Nold meticulously setting a table, only to be disrupted by the entry of Gregory, a man who appears older and haunted by past traumas. Their interactions are punctuated by eerie silences, strange actions, and a sense of impending doom.

As the story progresses, the characters move to an underground hovel in a forest, where the tension escalates. Gregory’s fragmented memories and haunting speeches, combined with Nold’s growing frustration and confusion, paint a bleak picture of human existence. The arrival of a mysterious woman and her daughter adds another layer of despair, highlighting themes of survival, loss, and the relentless passage of time.
