Synopsis

Dublin, Ireland, during the Easter Rising of 1916.

Jack is a lovable rogue who often shirks his responsibilities, preferring to spend his time at the local pub with his friends. His long-suffering wife, Juno, struggles to make ends meet for their family, which includes their children Mary and Johnny.

As the Easter Rising of 1916 unfolds in the background, Jack’s life becomes increasingly entangled in the political and social turmoil of the time. He finds himself torn between his loyalty to his family and his desire for a carefree existence.
