Synopsis

A minimalistic stage with no scenery, props, or furniture

John is struggling with his sexuality and the pressures from his relationships, finds himself torn between his long-term male partner, M, and a new female love interest, W. This triangular dynamic leads to a series of confrontations that challenge John’s identity and the perceptions of those around him.

The play delves into themes of sexual identity, societal expectations, and the complexities of love. It is a drama infused with dark comedy, structured in a linear narrative that highlights the emotional turmoil and conflict within a confined, intimate space. The stark, prop-less stage emphasises the rawness of the characters’ interactions, making their dialogue and emotional exchanges the focal point of the performance.
