Synopsis

Set in the lively and competitive environment of Borough FM, 93.2FM follows the dynamic duo, Coach and Bossman, as they navigate their burgeoning careers in radio. Their friendship and professional bond are put to the test when one of them starts getting ahead of himself, casting a shadow over Borough FM’s success. The play captures the tension and excitement of live radio, where every phone-in could shift the narrative and every broadcast could either unite or divide them.

“93.2FM” is a one-act play characterised by sharp, witty dialogue and a fast-paced narrative. It uses a linear narrative to explore themes of friendship, ambition, and loyalty. The play delves into the conflict between remaining true to one’s roots and the pressures of mainstream success. It humorously yet poignantly addresses the compromises that come with pursuing one’s dreams, making it a relatable and engaging piece for a wide audience.
