Elizabeth Krechowiecka

Elizabeth Krechowiecka was born in 1964 in Bradford, West Yorkshire and was a Polish / English playwright born to Polish parents. Elizabeth’s first play ‘Gone’ was performed at The Royal Court in 1984 as part of the Young Writers Festival. Elizabeth went on to work at The National Theatre and The Albany in Deptford, before moving back to Bradford to start a family. Elizabeth passed away on the 23rd of August 2015 at the age of 52 after a short battle with cancer.
