Claudia Hidalgo

Claudia Hidalgo Jiménez is a Chilean playwright, actress, and screenwriter, known for her intimate and thought-provoking storytelling. She studied Art Direction at Universidad Mayor, acting at the Escuela de Teatro Gustavo Meza, and screenwriting at the International School of Film and Television in Cuba.

Hidalgo’s works include No le quites los ojos, featured in the anthology La Palabra Sucia, and Combo en la Cara, which earned her the Outstanding Playwriting Award at the 7th Spring Festival in 2010. Her play That Thing I Never Shared with You (Ese algo que nunca compartí contigo) was presented at the Royal Court and later performed at the Iberdrama Festival in Madrid. In addition, Hidalgo has worked on musical theatre with Cerati, Nada personal and written for television series such as El reemplazante. She also teaches dramaturgy and screenwriting.
