Chris Thorpe is a British playwright, performer, and poet whose work often blends political themes with a distinctive experimental style. He studied at the University of Manchester and began writing plays in the early 2000s. His collaborations with theatre companies such as Unlimited Theatre and the Royal Court Theatre have resulted in plays like Victory Condition (2017), which explores the concept of normality in an unstable world.

Thorpe’s writing is characterised by its philosophical depth and his ability to create intense, thought-provoking experiences for audiences. His work frequently addresses global political issues, from terrorism to climate change, in innovative and challenging ways.
