Billy Connolly CBE is a Scottish comedian, actor, and musician, widely regarded as one of the UK’s most influential comedians. Born in Glasgow, he began his career as a folk musician before gaining fame for his observational and often improvised stand-up comedy. Connolly has also acted in numerous films, including Mrs. Brown and The Boondock Saints. In 2017, he was knighted for services to entertainment and charity.
