Anchuli Felicia King

Anchuli Felicia King is a Thai-Australian playwright, screenwriter, and multidisciplinary artist whose work often explores linguistic hybrids, digital cultures, and globalisation. Her play White Pearl (2019) premiered at the Royal Court Theatre in London, examining the complexities of corporate culture and racial tensions. King’s writing is noted for its sharp dialogue and social commentary. She has also worked as a screenwriter on projects such as HBO’s The Baby and the TV adaptation of The Sympathizer. In 2020, she was awarded the Sydney Theatre Company Patrick White Fellowship and the Mona Brand Emerging Writer Award.
