Alberto Villarreal Diaz is a Mexican writer, playwright, and theatre director. His works have been translated into English, French, German, Portuguese and Chinese, and published internationally. Villarreal has participated in major festivals like Mirada in Brazil, Festival TransAmériques in Canada, and the Heidelberger Stückemarkt in Germany. He has also held artistic residencies across North and South America, Europe, and China.
